and played through my dad's guitar amp. I played in a series of garage
bands and bars with a little better gear until I was about 25, then life
began to get in the way and I made some hard choices. I put away my bass
for 19 years, but when my youngest (and last) kid moved out of the house
in May 2001 I picked it back up and have been looking for the right gig
ever since. I'm old enough to know the right thing will come along and
have learned that waiting for the right band is better than working with
the wrong ones :) I didn't forget anything I knew during that long
absence and am a better bassist now than I was when I put the bass down
almost 20 years ago.
