| Biography | Picked up bass at age 30 in March of 2001. Over the following months have tried to self-teach myself bass with assistance of a book/CD purchased at the music store plus various websites and reading the alt.guitar.bass group. Have not played with other musicians as of yet but hope to eventually play with some friends who play guitar. Repertoire is limited now to a few songs. Influence to pick up bass was Mike Watt - other favorite bassists include Matt Freeman, Paul Hinojos, Jack Bruce, Dee Dee Ramone, Joe Lally. Am actually working on my first own composition - actually 2 lines that came together separately and have discovered that one works as a verse and the other as a chorus. | ||
