| Biography | Started playing bass in September 1994 after buying an old Yamaha. Upgraded to a Washburn in 1995 and that was fine until '99, when the serious problems with Gear Acquisition Syndrome began. Some even call it an addiction: my current stable of four basses have all been purchased in the last year and all are far nicer than my abilities warrant, but that gives me something to strive for. I play in a rock cover band that gigs 8-10 times a year and am always looking to play more. Influences range from Sting to Macca to even Lessard from Dave Matthews Band, but there are far too many amazing bassists that I admire to list them all here. I was weaned on the four-string but just bought the Modulus 5, which could change my opinions significantly. Always looking to improve; never seem to feel like I do! | ||
