Biography  Born in 1952 (but not in Chicago!),took up bass in 1964 and still bangin away.All the gigs I've done add up to approx. 10 years night after night.....and vary between rock,blues,funk,jazz and function/cabaret type stuff. Have had support slots with Brook Benton, The Three Degrees, Geno Washington, Dr Feelgood, Steve Gibbons, Chris Rea, Otis Grand, Man and Del Amitri. Oh,and _two_ different 'Drifters'! Currently playing big band jazz (Basie, Miles, Bird etc) to keep up with reading and a small 4 pc jazz group with female vocals,plus occasional 4pc light funk stuff with some friends. Musical tastes are wide and varied but have a penchant for Richard Thompson,Ry Cooder,Little Feat, Robben Ford and early Ska reggae.
