Here you will find a variety of sound samples submitted by AGB regulars.
We want our visitors to hear a wide variety of tones produced by different instruments. This could help the player when trying to decide on a new instrument. A lot of factors go into producing a decent tone so a detailed description is given for each sample.

trimmed. The drum track is a simple drum 'n bass loop.

too much about there either, the reason for the mix is that the D & G on the Fod's

pickups and Bartolini MK-1 3 band eq onboard pre-amp

Pickups: Stock Seymour Duncan Basslines soapbar pick-ups with the STC-3 tone circuit

Method of Recording: The Godin BG-5 was plugged directly into a Creative Audigy
soundcard, no pre-amp was used, no compression was added, the bass was recorded
completely dry. No post processing was done at all. The two samples show the BG-5's
pure sound within a song context. The Godin BG-5's on board eq was set as follows:
Bass 13:00, Treble 12:00, Mids 12:00, blend 12:00, Volume Full.

level down on the mix to achieve a clearer, less woolly sound. This clip utilizes
almost the full range of notes playable on the Sting Ray, the very highest note
being a high e (the highest note on the ´Ray is actually an f) and the lowest being
the very low b, which the ´Ray produces exceedingly well.
